In order to further enhance the international influence of Jiangsu higher education, to attract and encourage outstanding foreign students to come to Jiangsu colleges and universities to receive degree education, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government has set up the Jiangsu Outstanding Student Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the "Outstanding Student Scholarship").

I. Scope of application of the scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students with full-time academic qualifications above the second year of undergraduate education (included) or above the graduate students in the second year (included).

II. Scholarship Standards

Undergraduate students 18,000 yuan/person;

Graduate students 30,000 yuan/person

III. Application Requirements for Scholarships

The Outstanding Student Scholarship mainly rewards and subsidizes outstanding foreign students who know China and have excellent character and grades. The specific application conditions are as follows:

1. Be friendly to China, abide by the Constitution and laws, abide by the rules and regulations of the university, and pay tuition fees and related fees in accordance with regulations;

2. Honesty and trustworthy, with good moral character;

3. Excellent academic performance during the study period, outstanding learning and research ability;

4. Priority is given to individuals who actively participate in the practical activities of the university or society, play a prominent role in the dissemination of Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture or promote cultural exchanges between China and home countries, and have made outstanding contributions to public welfare undertakings.
