I. Application
(1)Eligibility for Application
a.Healthy foreign nationals with good character
b.Applicants for a master’s program shall have a bachelor or higher degree;Applicants for a doctoral program shall have a master or higher degree.
c.All candidates must receive recommendations from at least 2 associateprofessors or scholars with equivalent titles.
d.For master degree candidates applying for a professional degree in clinical medicine,the student must hold a bachelor’s degree and have graduated from a 5-yearundergraduate Chinese TCM university program in mainland China.
e.Applicants for Chinese-taught programs shall pass new HSK 5 with a minimumscore of 180. Applicants for English-taught programs from non-English-speakingcountries shall pass the university language test.
f.For applicants who were originally Chinese citizens but have taken up foreign citizenship,NJUCM will execute according to the regulations set forth in Document No. 83(2009) of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.Applicants shall hold a valid citizenship for no less than 4 years and a recordof residency in the country for less than 2 years in the most recent 4 years.
(2)Application documents
a.Application form to study in NJUCM.
b.A copy of passport information (beyond 6 months validity since theapplication).
c.Photocopy of the highest degree certificate: Please provide the scan-copy ofgraduation diploma and/or degree certificate; For those who have not got thediploma yet, please provide the School Attendance Certificate.
d.Two reference letters in English or Chinese from 2associate professors or scholarswith equivalent titles.
e.A copy of HSK5 Certificate.
f.Health Certificate
g.Criminal Record Check
h.Financial Guarantee Statement (Certificate of Deposit). If the deposit is inthe name of a relative, a certificate of kinship shall be provided.
i.Recent 2-inch bareheaded photo, white background without border, head accountfor 2/3 of the photo size, photo size should be not less than 320*240 pixels,the ratio of height to width is 4:3, the size is 100-500kb, JPG format; Please nameit with your passport number.
(3)Study Method
Self-supportedpost-graduate students in full time method.
(4) Application Period
March2020 to June 2020.
II. Methods of assessment
Application-EvaluationSystem.
Theevaluation content will focus on the acquisition of specialty basic knowledgeand research capacity as well as language proficiency. The evaluation will betaken through on-sight interview, phone interview or Internet interview.
III. Acceptance
Amerit-based process will be organized for students’ entry to the universityafter collecting all candidates’ registration documents and their comprehensiveinterview performance evaluation. The admission package will be delivered in July2020.
IV. Entrance schedule
Thiswill be arranged by the International Education College.
Studentswho are accepted shall apply for student visa( X1 visa) through ChineseEmbassy/Consulate in your home country with your passport, Admission Notice andJW 202 / 201 Form. Upon visa approval, please register on the designated timespecified in the Admission Notice. Students who only submitted schoolattendance certificate shall then supply the original copy of the academicdegree; otherwise the qualification for matriculation will be cancelled. If thestudents cannot come and register on time, he or she should ask for permissionfrom the university. Otherwise, his or her qualification of admission will becancelled. Students shall bring the original copy of Physical Examination upon registration.
V. Degree awarded and Graduation
Studentswho have finished required courses, passed the thesis defense and relevantexamination will be granted relevant degree and graduation diploma according tothe Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Academic Degrees.
