Training Objectives:
1. Master the basic theory, frontier of pharmacological research, and the knowledge of disciplines relevant to pharmacology. Have ability to independently conduct scientific research and to take on professional work. Make original and innovative achievements in science or technology.
2. Be skilled in reading professional foreign materials or documents and writing English scientific papers.
3. Master modern information technology with strong ability to obtain and analyze information. Have ability to apply for patent .
4. Physically and mentally healthy.
Application Requirements
Fluent English with good ability on listening, speaking,reading and writing.
2. Possess Master’s degree or higher.
Provide undergraduate diploma notarized copies and the score report’s transcripts or notarized copies of undergraduate courses. When the diploma is neither Chinese nor English, you should provide notarized Chinese or English translated document.
4. Provide research and study plan in China (1500 words at least), written in Chinese or English.
5. Provide recommendation letters by two professionals with the title of professors or associate professors.
Training Requirements
1. Curriculum and Credits
Students are required to determine their courses under the guidance of supervisors, which is written in the cultivation plan. Doctoral students should have 20 credits before thesis defense. The credits for literature reading, academic activities, and extracurricular practice should not be less than 10.

3. Academic Publication
The research achievements should be presented as academic publications or patents. Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine must be the affiliation of the publications that are relevant to dissertation. One original research paper published in SCI journals is required.
