Regulations for International Students' After-School Life and Vacation Life at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine

In order to enrich and activate their extracurricular life, the International Education College will organize students to participate in various cultural and sports activities at the provincial and municipal levels in a planned way, and international students can participate voluntarily.

 

Every year, the College of International Education regularly organizes spring or autumn tours for students to visit scenic spots and historical sites, so as to help international students to have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.

 

International students can sign up to participate in various student club activities organized by the student union of the school, and can also voluntarily participate in activities held on major festivals in China. The school encourages international students to have friendly exchanges with Chinese teachers, students and people.

 

The International Education College does not organize international students to participate in political activities, but can organize international students to voluntarily participate in activities such as public welfare activities.

 

The International Education College advocates and supports students and student groups to carry out academic, technological, artistic, cultural and recreational, sports and other activities that are beneficial to physical and mental health. International students can also voluntarily participate in celebrations held in our country on major festivals. Students’ extracurricular activities shall not affect the school’s normal education and teaching order and life order.

 

The school respects the ethnic customs and religious beliefs of foreign students, but does not provide a place to hold religious ceremonies. Activities such as missionary and religious gatherings are strictly prohibited on campus.

 

Except for winter and summer vacations, there is a day off for International Labor Day on May 1, three days off for China National Day on October 1, one day off for New Year's Day on January 1, and one day off for Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival each year.
