International students studying in NUCM for over 6 months (including 6 months) must buy medical insurance at college.

For self- financed students

Foreign students have to buy the designated insurance, i.e. the group comprehensive insurance for international students.

Students from HongKong, Macao and Taiwan regions have to buy the Urban Residence Medical Insurance.

For scholarship students

CSC shall purchase Comprehensive Insurance & Protection Scheme for Foreigners Staying in China of Ping An Annuity Insurance Company, Ltd for international students of Chinese Government Scholarship.

The university shall purchase the Group Comprehensive Insurance for International Students of Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship whose scholarship covers the insurance.

       General clinic

Students could go to university hospital in B5 in Xianlin campus. If necessary, doctors in the university hospital will write a referral letter for you to the designated hospitals.

         Be in hospital

Students who bought the Urban Residence Medical Insurance need to go through the admission procedures with the insurance card and cash up with the insurance card while leaving.

Students who bought the Group Comprehensive Insurance for International Students could contact the service commissioner of Ping An Annuity Insurance Company. The service commissioner would help you with the medical treatment and insurance claims.

For international students of Chinese Government Scholarship

      If you are hospitalized----call 4008105119 ext 1 before hospitalization----You can apply for advanced payment
